While my stay at Hangar 13, I was tasked to troubleshoot, implement, fix the worldmap and hideout maps and supporting backend menus.
There was an occasional black solid. The Flash swf of the worldmap/hideout maps are positioned with a lua script. By pinpointing the left corner and bottom right corner in the in-game and the actual Flash file of the worldmap and republishing the assets fixed the issue. 

I also created a documentation of how to troubleshoot this problem.
